Butterflies: The State of Britain's Butterflies
The Butterflies for the New Millennium project completed the largest & most comprehensive survey of butterflies in Britain (1995-99). This report summarises the main findings & compares them with records from the previous national survey (1970-82) and historical information dating back to 1800. Butterfly Conservation, JNCC & CEH, 2001.
